Lesson description

This is another example of representation of 12 notes on harmonium or keyboard or piano keys in scale C#. In previous lesson, we saw representation of 12 notes for scale A#. If you do not know about types of notes (swar) such as shuddha, komal, teevra and do not understand the sequence of 12 notes, do watch this lesson Introduction to 12 notes in music. Now assumming you understand the sequence of 12 notes:

  1. Sa
  2. Komal Re
  3. Shuddha Re
  4. Komal Ga
  5. Shuddha Ga
  6. Shuddha Ma
  7. Teevra Ma
  8. Pa
  9. Komal Dha
  10. Shuddha Dha
  11. Komal Ni
  12. Shuddha Ni

and the sequence of 12 notes starting from C#3 is:

  1. C#3
  2. D3
  3. D#3
  4. E3
  5. F3
  6. F#3
  7. G3
  8. G#3
  9. A3
  10. A#3
  11. B3
  12. C4

Hence mapping the above two sequences, sequence of all 12 notes in harmonium/keyboard/piano with A#2 as 'Sa' is:
